DR. ROOBAL SEKHON, D.O.
I believe in providing patients with all aspects of psychiatric care, and feel that therapy and medications can be equally important. I tailor each treatment plan to the specific needs of the individual and don't believe that illnesses can be treated in a 'one size fits all' model. I grew up in California, then attended UC San Diego for undergraduate school, completing my Bachelors in Molecular Biology. I then attended medical school at University of New England and completed residency in Psychiatry at University Hospitals, Case Medical Center where I was also Chief Resident. I stayed there to complete a fellowship in Sleep Medicine, which in part allowed me to better understand how much Psychiatric illness and sleep problems overlap. After completing my training, I happily returned to California. I live with my family in the East Bay where I have been working in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine since 2009.
